French pewter spoon with paddle stem finial and rounded bowl attachment
                    French, mid 18th century. The bowl remains very oval. Note the narrow shoulder on the paddle end and the little «ears» on each sides of the junction of the bowl and stem. Very simple round bowl attachment. 
The mold the spoons are made from is really easy to use but gives spoons a little bit cruder. A good choise for the common folk or a soldier
